Chino Hills Boat Parade – (On land not water)

Date: Friday, December 18, 2015 / 7:00 P.M.

Location: along Peyton Drive (north of Eucalyptus Avenue) or Boys Republic Road before the Police Department

Comments: All you need is a boat, a tow vehicle, a flair for holiday decorating, a generator, and proof of insurance. The number of entries is limited. For information call: The coordinator at (909) 573-3824.

 

Dana Point, CA – 41st Annual Holiday Boat Parade of Lights

Date: December 11, 12, and 18, 19 2015 at 7:30 P.M.

Long Beach, CA – 32nd Annual Parade of 1000 Lights at Shoreline Village

Long Beach, CA – Naples Island 69th Annual Holiday Boat Parade

Comments: Some people describe it as one of the coziest, friendliest and coolest places in Southern California for a Christmas parade on the water.

 

Marina Del Rey, CA – 52nd Annual Boat Parade

Comments: This year’s theme is “Happy Birthday Marina Del Rey”. Fire works show will start at 5:55 P.M. Followed by the boat parade (6:P.M. t0 8:P.M.). Free parking available in county lots. The second largest boat parade on the Westcoast.

 

Morro Bay, CA – Lighted Boat Parade

Newport Beach, CA - 105th Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

Comments: Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade will set the harbor ablaze for five consecutive nights, beginning Wednesday, December 16 and ending Sunday, December 20, 2015. The parade starts off Bay Island at 6:30 pm and finishes at the same site at approximately 9:00 pm each evening, with fireworks at Balboa Pier Firework show on the final night of the parade, December 21nd @9:PM

 

Oakland, CA – Oakland Lighted Yacht Parade

Date: December 5, 2015 / 5:30 P.M.

Comments: Hundreds of spectators gather along the waterfront at specified viewing areas or at restaurants that afford them a view of the estuary. In 2009 thirty-five boats participated in the parade, and this year's organizers expect even more.

 

Oceanside, CA – Oceanside Harbor Parade of Lights

Comments: Boats of all sizes, decorated in holiday lights and ornaments circle Oceanside Harbor. On lookers will be in the restaurants and along the beach. Comments: This time-honored tradition kicks off the holidays with Snow Play at 12:00 p.m. and Santa and Mrs. Claus from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. There will be arts & crafts and food vendors starting at 12:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. you can enjoy the thousands of sparkling lights dancing on the water and the magical moment when Santa flies across the sky marking the beginning of the parade.

 

Petaluma, CA – Petaluma Holiday Lighted Boat Parade

Comments: The parade starts at the Petaluma Marina at 5:30 p.m. and arrives in the Turning Basin between 6 and 6:30 p.m.  Best viewing is on Water St., Jack Balshaw Bridge, Golden Eagle Shopping Center or at the Yacht Club.

 

Redondo Beach, CA – 24th Annual King Harbor Boat Parade

San Diego, CA – Mission Bay Christmas Boat of Lights Parade

December 12, 2015 / 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Comments: The boat parade begins at 6:00 p.m. from Quiver Basin. The two recommended viewing spots are Crown Point, the east side of Vacation Island or the west side of Fiesta Island. The parade ends with a firework show and the lighting of the SeaWorld Sky tower Tree of Lights at 9:00 p.m.

 

San Diego, CA – 44th San Diego Harbor Parade of Lights (travels five Islands)

Comments: Fireworks 5.30pm; parade immediately following. The San Diego Harbor Parade of Lights is an annual tradition that begins with fireworks before the illuminated boats parade through the harbor. This years theme is: “Children’s Stories”. The parade starts at Shelter Island; to Harbor Island; The Embarcadero; Seaport Village; ends at Ferry Landing on Coronado. San Francisco, CA – Holiday Lights & Sights Parade

Date: Friday, December 11, 2015 / 5:30 – 8:00 P.M.

Comments: Between 75 - 100 boats festooned with lights and holiday decorations will parade along the waterfront, starting at PIER 39 and traveling to the Marina Green. After the parade, the best viewing is on Jefferson Street between Jones & Taylor Streets at the Sportfishing Harbor.

 

San Francisco, CA – 27th Annual Sausalito Lighted Boat Parade

Comments: The spectacular display of decorated yachts and boats parade will be followed by a fireworks show.

 

 

San Pedro, CA – 53rd Annual Harbor Boat Parade

Date: December 5, 2014 / 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Location: L.A. Harbor, on Harbor Blvd.

Comments: This year's Theme for the parade is "Holidays Treasures". The Holiday Afloat Parade starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 in the East Basin Channel of the Port of Los Angeles.  Thousands of spectators watch the mile-long procession from public viewing stations along the route, including the Los Angeles Maritime Museum and Ports O’ Call Village.

 

Santa Barbara, CA – Parade of Lights Sunday

Comments: The Annual Parade of Lights will take place Sunday, December 7th. Festivities will begin with a Santa's Village event at 3:00 PM – 8:00 P.M. on the City Pier. There will be a visit from Santa, and he's bringing 10 tons of snow for children to play in, plus holiday music. The event is free and everyone is invited.

 

Santa Cruz, CA – 30th Annual Lighted Boat Parade

Stockton, CA – 34th Annual Delta Reflections Boat Parade

Date: December 5, 2015 / 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.

Location: McCloud Lake at the Downtown Waterfront

Comments: The boat parade starts at 5:00 P.M. near Buckley Cove, and will arrive in Downtown Stockton around 6:00 P.M. The event will be hosted by Marina West Yacht Club; there is no fee to watch the parade. Boats enter downtown and pass the Stockton Marina to Weber Point.

 

Venice, CA – Holiday Boat Parade

December 14, 2015 / 4:30 – 7:00 P.M.

Comments: The holiday spirit with a brilliantly lit display of small boats, canoes, kayaks and costumes from Admiralty Way, turn right on Via Marina, then left onto Washington Boulevard. Go 1/4 mile, turn right onto Dell Ave. Park, and then walk toward the beautiful holiday lights!

 

Ventura, CA – Venture Harbor Village Parade of lights
